Long non-coding RNA sequencing

Long non-coding RNAseq (lncRNAseq) is a NGS technique that can be used to identify lncRNAs and mRNAs. lncRNAs are non-coding RNA molecules found in eukaryotic transcriptomes that regulate gene transcription and epigenetics, and have been shown to have multiple roles in normal physiological states and in diseases, including cancer and neurological disorders. lncRNAs range in length from >200 base pairs and include intergenic lincRNAs, intronic ncRNAs and circular RNAs.
